Shipping methods
The following applies to all Kastanitsa Honey products:
1. Payment/Receipt by us
Pick up your order yourself, from our place, without shipping or cash on delivery costs.
Your order will be executed after our telephone communication, on the telephone number you indicated to us.
You pay and receive your order, in our store, after our telephone communication.
2. Dispatch of Order
All of our Kastanitsa Honey products are shipped within 3 working days at the latest, with ELTA Courier. Shipping costs for orders within the prefecture of Attica up to 2 kg are €5.30. For larger orders there is a charge of €1.60 per extra kilo. The above charges include VAT. There is a contract with the courier ELTA and the charges are the lowest possible. The total shipping cost is calculated on the order confirmation page and in any case before completing it.
For orders outside Attica, the cost will be calculated after communication between us.
Our products are shipped all over Greece.
In prefecture capitals (Mainland and Island Greece).
– With our own vehicle.
– With COURIER Companies. Light weight orders up to 2 kgr (and/or volume up to 10,000 cm3 / 10 ltr).
– By Post (Hellenic Post Office EL.TA.). Orders of weight from 2 kgr to 20 kgr (and/or volume from 10,000 cm3 / 10 ltr to 100,000 cm3 / 100 ltr).
In all regions, except the capitals of prefectures.
– By Post (Hellenic Post Office EL.TA.). All orders weighing up to 20 kgr (and/or volume up to 100,000 cm3 / 100 ltr).
Orders weighing more than 20 kgr (and/or volume from 100,000 cm3 / 100 ltr), are sent with Transport Agencies in Athens/Thessaloniki. The transport cost concerns the delivery of the order to Transport Agencies in Athens/Thessaloniki. Transfer from there to other regions of Greece is done in consultation with the customer and is charged to the customer.
3. Telephone Confirmation
Orders are shipped only after contacting the customer by phone.
Before each shipment, we contact you by phone to confirm the details of your order, agree on the shipping method and the cost of shipping and paying for the order.
In case we cannot contact you, we stop the progress of your order.
4. Place and Time of Delivery
The delivery days and times are defined by the operating hours of the transport company that undertakes their transport and takes place at the place of delivery stated in the order form.
Orders are delivered within four to ten business days, depending on product availability and delivery area.
In case the order is placed after 12:00pm, the delivery time increases by one working day.
In the event that a product is not immediately available, the order service time is determined by the speed of delivery from our suppliers.
The above deadlines do not apply during periods of extreme weather or strikes and in any case of force majeure, which may affect transport and delivery times.
***Clarifications.
The Final Shipping Cost (transportation), in exceptional cases, may differ from the one indicated on the order form. In this case, X will contact you to agree on the most economical and reliable way to ship your order. The Final Shipping Cost, if it differs from what is stated on the order form, is added to the final payment amount.
The Final Shipping Cost (transportation) depends on and can vary from:
i) The area/place of delivery of the order, e.g. hard to reach areas.
ii) The final weight and volume of the order, e.g. products may be removed or added to the original order at the request of the customer.
iii) The shipping method requested by the customer and if this method is possible (COURIER, EL.TA., Transport Agencies).
